Eric NokesEric was formerly the Director of Tennis at Sunriver Resort. He brings dynamic tennis programs and instruction to beginner, intermediate, and competitive adults and juniors. Eric became the Director of Tennis at Sunriver Resort in 2004, building the program to a level that rated Sunriver Resort as a “Top 50 Tennis Resorts” in 2011, by Tennis magazine.
Eric’s playing accolades began at an early age. In high school, Eric was Wyoming’s State Singles Champion, going undefeated in his senior season. He was awarded an athletic scholarship to play Division II collegiate tennis at Mesa State College. While attending Mesa State, Eric was honored as an All-Conference player and helped lead his team to the Division II National Tennis Championship tournament, for the first time in Mesa’s history! Always having a love for tennis and enjoying working with and meeting people, Eric went on to begin teaching tennis full time at the age of 21. In his 24 years of coaching, Eric has stayed true to his belief that all players can improve. He always brings a fun and competitive atmosphere to the courts, helping players of all levels work on their games. |

Doug WilliamsCoaching Experience:
Doug has 38 yeas of experience as a varsity high school head tennis coach in Southern California working the last 34 years at Santa Margarita Catholic High School as Director of Tennis, Boys' Head Coach, and Associate Athletic Director. He has been selected Orange County, CA coach of the year twice. his teams have won 14 league championships, one CIF Southern Section championship, and have made 36 playoff appearances. Playing Experience and Education: Doug began playing tennis at 16 and first competed as a senior on the Mater Dei high School varsity tennis team. After high school he played for 2 years on the Golden West Jr. College Tennis Team in Huntington Beach, CA. Doug complete his BA in Physical Education at California State University Long Beach and then earned his CA teaching credential from Southern California College. He loves teaching and playing the game of tennis and is looking forward to helping players improve. |
